According to Microsoft Windows 11 will be ready on October 5, 2021 and eligible Windows 10 PCs will receive a free upgrade to Windows 11, and pre-installed Windows 11 PCs will become available for purchase later this year. The free upgrade to Windows 11 begin on October 5 and will be phased and measured with a focus on quality.
